Swift Swallows' purpose beyond the excitement and pleasure of observing birds in their habitats is to support the River Center. From March through May team members each identify as many species of birds in North America as they can to raise funds for River Center education programs.
The team has raised over $114,000 for River Center programs since 2009! Its goal for 2025 is $5,000.
Team members are California residents Dave and Julie Jackson and their adult daughters, Tina and Joanna and Sequim residents, Marion Rutledge, Marie Grad, and Stacey Fradkin. While enjoying their birding this spring each member is also an informal ambassador for the River Center. The team’s species total was 293 in 2024. To see the team member’s bird lists, updated nearly every day, see http://swiftswallows.weebly.com
Your donation today will help pay for River Center classes and field trips for all ages. Donors: Please add a note to reenforce your support for the team or individual members. If you note that you're supporting Dave and Julie, they'll match your gift!
